As a Falkbuilt Millwork Designer, you will be responsible for communicating with Falkbuilt branches to understand their needs, creating production designs for their projects, and overseeing projects through production, while ensuring efficient customer service. We are a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company seeking a high energy, hardworking and motivated individual on our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Must have experience in Millwork design.
- Work closely with Falkbuilt project managers and Autodesk Revit designers to complete submittal and production drawings.
- Thrive in an open office setting with frequent collaboration and communication.
- Collaborate with Falkbuilt Branches and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in millwork design. Microvellum experience is considered an asset.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
Working Conditions
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Occasional travel required between local work sites in SE Calgary.
- Must be available to respond to urgent matters on the weekends as Falkbuilt is a 7 day a week operation.
- Must love (ok, like) dogs as they are regularly in the office.
