Falkbuilt, an Interior Digital Component Construction company, requires an experienced Electrician to join our Maintenance team. We have over 90,000 sq feet of industrial manufacturing space and machinery that needs regular maintenance. Falkbuilt is looking for qualified individuals willing to work as part of a team and who can think on their feet.

You will never be bored at Falk - there is always something to do. As part of Maintenance, you will be working in a fast-paced, changing environment. Duties include installations as well as maintaining, lubricating, troubleshooting and repairing existing equipment alongside your team members. We have a variety of machinery and systems at our numerous locations including but not limited to Lasers, 3D Laminators, Roll formers, Brake presses, CNC machines, Glue Machines, Industrial ovens, Metal shop machinery, Millwork Machinery, compressors and pneumatic piping systems, conveyor systems, etc.

Position Requirements

• Have a positive attitude with a professional demeanor, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Have excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to handle emergency situations in a calm manner.
• Have exceptional attention to detail in order to fulfill duties and responsibilities.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls.
• Inspect and examine machinery / equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must have a journeyman certification (red seal is an asset); proof of certification is required
• Must be able to communicate in the English language – strong written, verbal and reading skills are required
• An AB Driver’s License (Non-GDL) and a clean driver’s abstract are required
• Strong Computer skills are an asset
• Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet for long periods of time.

Your schedule will be 4 days on, 4 days off (12-hour days, 6am to 6pm). In case of a critical emergency, we may need you to assist on your days off.
