Funnel Leasing Inc., is hiring for a Solution Representative. As a Solution Representative you will be responsible for selling Funnel’s Online Leasing and Resident Portal products to new prospects (and where appropriate, expansion within existing accounts) focused on delivering a modern, fully digital leasing experience for multifamily property owners and operators. This role will combine consultative selling, product expertise, and value-based conversations to help prospects understand how Funnel’s Online Leasing and Resident Portal solutions drive operational efficiency, applicant conversion, and reduced risk. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, comfortable with both technical and business-level discussions, and committed to exceeding quota in a high-growth SaaS environment. In addition to base salary, Solution Representatives are also eligible for additional variable based compensation.

As a Solution Representative you will partner with the Implementation team to ensure the prospective customer is a good fit. You will develop a deep technical understanding of Funnel’s software stack and leverage this knowledge throughout the sales cycle, particularly as it comes to custom work requests and exhibit solid judgment on our existing roadmap. You will lead engaging product demonstrations for a variety of audiences ranging from C-Suite executives to more technical stakeholders. Lastly you will be responsible for helping to guide prospects/existing accounts from the sales discovery phase into an implementation playbook recommendation that ensures they are set up for success.

The Solution Representative's essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and manage a full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualifying to closing—for the Online Leasing and Resident Portal products.
  • Identify and engage decision-makers and influencers (owners, operators, property managers, regional VP/EVP, IT/leasing operations) in the multifamily industry.
  • Deliver high-impact, value-oriented product demonstrations and presentations that translate features (instant verification, mobile-first application, centralized workflows) into business outcomes (faster approvals, reduced screening manual work, improved renter experience).
  • Create and articulate ROI and efficiency models tied to Funnel’s Online Leasing and Resident Portal statistics (e.g., “<2 minutes to apply”, “70% faster approval to lease distribution”, “91% auto-verify identity without human involvement”).
  • Qualify customer needs, assess business fit, and collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Implementation) to ensure alignment between prospect goals, Funnel positioning, and successful onboarding.
  • Manage and maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline; meet or exceed activity metrics (calls, emails, social outreach) and sales quota.
  • Execute territory and market coverage plans: identify target accounts in your region, attend industry events and conferences, build relationships within the multifamily real estate vertical.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends (PropTech, multifamily leasing automation, FinTech verification), and Funnel’s evolving product roadmap.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams to escalate market feedback, champion customer use-cases (e.g., case studies), and inform product enhancements.
  • Respond to and spearhead customer requests for proposals and RFIs
  • Support Business Reviews (QBRs) post-implementation, providing insights and recommendations for ongoing success
  • Travel as required (e.g., up to ~30%) to visit prospects, attend trade shows, and support regional events.

Education, Work Experience, and Certifications

  • At least 4–6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably selling to enterprise or mid-enterprise customers in real-estate, property management, or PropTech.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota and selling value-based solutions into complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell consultatively to both technical and executive stakeholders (VP/EVP level) and navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
  • Strong business acumen: able to build financial/business cases around efficiency gains, cost savings, and digital transformation.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills—comfortable leading web-based demos and face-to-face meetings.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics/reporting dashboards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-growth environment; highly organized, self-motivated, and coachable.
  • Prior experience in the multifamily or real-estate sector is highly desirable.
  • Track record of exceeding customer expectations
  • Experience working with engineering and product teams
  • Travel readiness as required by territory (e.g., up to 30%).
