Role: Content Creator (Video + Social)

🎯 About the Role

We're looking for a creative and culturally curious Content Creator to help bring history to life for kids and families through comics, reels, and YouTube storytelling. You'll work directly with the founders to craft engaging, warm, and educational content that builds brand trust, showcases real historians, and inspires preorders for our comic titles.

This is not just a content job — it’s a storytelling mission.

💡 What You’ll Do📱 Social Media (Instagram + LinkedIn)

• Design and publish weekly Reels and Carousels about Indian kings, queens, and brave rebels
• Repurpose long-form interviews into snackable reels and story highlights
• Build narrative series like:“Why This Story?” (comic origin stories)

🎬 YouTube Content

• Produce and edit 2 YouTube videos/month (founder stories, interviews, animated explainers)
• Create YouTube Shorts from longer videos
• Coordinate (or conduct) recorded interviews with historians
• Design titles, thumbnails, and upload-ready content

✍️ Founder Voice + Storytelling

• Work closely with founders to turn thoughts into content
• Ghostwrite personal LinkedIn and Instagram posts
• Capture behind-the-scenes footage of the comic creation process

🎨 Who You Are

• A natural storyteller with experience creating content for kids or parents (or both)
• Skilled in video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar) and basic design tools (Canva, Figma, etc.)
• Familiar with social trends and how to use content to drive community + sales
• Emotionally intelligent — you know how to turn raw ideas into heartfelt, honest posts
• Curious about Indian history, education, or comics — or excited to learn
• Comfortable working independently but collaborating with founders weekly

🧰 Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Nice to Have)

• Experience interviewing or editing interviews
• Animation/motion graphics skills
• Knowledge of Indian history, storytelling, or comics
• SEO optimization for YouTube
