SUMMARY:

GiGstreem, a leading Internet Service Provider based in the US, provides innovative technology solutions to residential (Single Family, MDU) and commercial (MTU) clients across various markets nationwide. The Human Resource Manager will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Company, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy. The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for all HR tasks. This position reports to the CFO.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
  • Complete all on-boarding and off-boarding tasks: Set up on ADP and on-boarding ticket submission for new hires and welcome orientation. As well as exit interviews and off-boarding ticket submission.
  • Prepare offer letters for potential candidates.
  • Prepare and process payroll semi-monthly.
  • Process paperwork for all employee transactions including hires, promotions, transfers, pay changes, terminations, etc.
  • Perform full cycle recruitment – from posting jobs, conducting candidate screening, collecting feedback, performing background and reference checks, completing to extending offers.
  • Assists in Recruiting, interviews, and hires across multiple departments based on close work with department managers.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Responsible for all HR tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Four to five years of human resource experience required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and stay organized.
  • Understand and respond to a diverse population.

SALARY:

  • Salary range $70,000 – 85,000
