Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

The FP&A Analyst will own the financial operating rhythm of the business - including budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and financial analysis - with a focus on driving accountability and delivering measurable EBITDA and cash outcomes.
This role is not purely reporting-focused. It is responsible for translating business activity into financial impact, identifying gaps to plan, and working cross-functionally to ensure execution against financial targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Forecast Ownership
- Own the annual budget and ongoing forecast, including monthly re-forecasting based on actual performance and updated assumptions
- Maintain full visibility into revenue, COGS, SG&A, and EBITDA - including clear drivers of movement vs. plan
- Identify gaps to budget and quantify actions required to close them
Business Performance & Accountability
- Lead budget vs. actual reviews with department leaders, ensuring clear ownership of variances and action plans
- Drive accountability across teams for spend, forecast accuracy, and financial performance
- Ensure all material spend and initiatives are aligned to approved budgets and financial targets
Operational & Unit Economics Analysis
- Build and maintain driver-based models for key business metrics, including APRU, CapEx per property, penetration, and ROI
- Analyze property-level and portfolio performance to identify risks and opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Design, and Construction to ensure financial assumptions align with execution and actual costs
Reporting & Operating Cadence
- Own financial content for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and leadership reporting
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards across revenue, EBITDA, cash, and CapEx
- Establish consistent weekly and monthly tracking of key financial initiatives and performance metrics
Strategic & Decision Support
- Support pricing strategy, deal evaluation, and investment decisions through financial modeling (NPV, IRR, payback)
- Evaluate new business opportunities and cost optimization initiatives
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
Data, Systems & Process Improvement
- Build and maintain scalable financial models, reporting tools, and dashboards
- Partner with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment between actuals and forecast
- Improve data quality, visibility, and reporting eAiciency across systems (including NetSuite)
Other
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies
- Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or similar role
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Experience building driver-based models and analyzing business performance
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment with shifting priorities Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge business partners
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with NetSuite or similar systems preferred
- High ownership mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through
