You’ll review scopes of work, photos, videos, and field notes to create accurate estimates, validate contractor proposals, and provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers.This is an ideal opportunity for a licensed plumber looking to leverage their expertise in a fast-paced office environment without the physical demands of field work.Responsibilities• Review plumbing service requests, diagnostics, photos, videos, and contractor proposals.• Develop detailed estimates for residential plumbing repairs and replacements.• Validate labor, material, and subcontractor pricing across multiple markets.• Identify incomplete scopes, missing line items, and opportunities to improve estimate accuracy.• Serve as the primary plumbing expert for internal teams including Sales, Operations, and Customer Success.• Provide recommendations on repair versus replacement decisions.• Assist with the development and maintenance of Lula’s flat-rate pricing catalog.• Communicate directly with contractors, property managers, and customers when clarification is needed.• Track estimate status and ensure timely turnaround on quote requests.• Support quality assurance efforts by reviewing completed jobs and estimate outcomes.What We’re Looking ForRequired• Active Journeyman or Master Plumber license.• 5+ years of residential plumbing experience.• Strong understanding of plumbing diagnostics, repairs, replacements, repipes, sewer work, water heaters, fixtures, and code requirements.• Experience creating estimates, bids, or proposals.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Comfortable reviewing photos, videos, and remote diagnostics.• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and web-based software.Preferred• Experience with single-family rental (SFR) properties.• Experience managing plumbing projects.• Previous estimating, service management, or operations experience.• Multi-state plumbing knowledge.What Success Looks Like• Fast and accurate quote turnaround.• Consistent estimate quality across all plumbing service lines.• Improved quote conversion rates.• Reduced contractor pricing discrepancies.• Trusted advisor to customers and internal teams.• Strong contribution to the continued development of Lula’s national plumbing pricing standards.Benefits• Medical Insurance• Dental Insurance• Vision Insurance• Life Insurance• Paid Time Off• Paid Parental Leave• Professional development opportunitiesJob Details• Job Type: Full-time• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (no routine field work required; ability to send urgent estimates after hours remotely)• Work Location: Overland Park, Kansas (in-office)• Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 per year• Supplemental Pay: Bonus opportunity
