Electronics Lab Manager

What you will be doing:

The Electronics Lab Manager will play a meaningful role in our team: managing our lab space, assembling and testing prototypes, reworking assemblies, running electronics tests, and handling hardware bring-up and characterization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Electronic and Mechanical lab spaces
• Participate in the prototyping process for products and test hardware
• Handle new hardware bring-up
• Run testing protocols for a wide variety of electronic hardware

You must have:

• A B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant industry experience
• Strong research and problem solving skills
• Experience with electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc)
• Experience with soldering SMT electronics
• Ability to both work in a team and self-manage
• Strong desire to be an extraordinary teammate with a collaborative interpersonal communication style
• Openness to participate in a feedback-based work process to guide improvements and drive growth

You should have:

• Electronics assembly experience (SMT)
• Experience with Git and content management
• Experience with ECAD software (Altium, etc)
• A strong desire to acquire new skills

It’s helpful to have:

• Programming skills (e.g. Javascript, Swift, Python, etc)
