I/O Subsystem Engineer
Are you looking to stretch your skills and find solutions for difficult subsystem problems?
What you will be doing:
The I/O Subsystem Engineer will work on I/O frameworks, writing software libraries to communicate with 3rd party I/O devices, and translating between physics-based digital twins to I/O protocols. They will also be interfacing with IP-based network protocols and distributed communication algorithms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop protocol support for a wide number of transports and building automation protocols
- Develop semantic mappings to integrate a wide number of wired and wireless automation communication protocols
- Work closely with the leadership team to understand PassiveLogic's business needs
You will be working on the Hive Controller which combines PassiveLogic's Autonomous Building Platform technology with state-of-the-art wireless sensors, intelligent I/O, and a user interface — all in a simple plug & play appliance that runs at the edge. It acts as a scalable, distributed compute and data storage system for customers throughout the Building Automation industry. Learn more about the Hive here.
