About the Role

As our part-time Office & People Coordinator in our Amsterdam Office, you’ll shape the day-to-day experience of our Amsterdam team, creating a workplace where people can do their best work. You’ll work closely with our Operations Manager to keep the office running seamlessly while supporting team operations, organisation, and culture. This role is for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.

What you’ll do

Office & Workplace Management: Manage office supplies, snacks, and equipment. Handle incoming/outgoing mail and packages. Ensure a smooth and well-organized office environment.

Culture & Team Experience: Plan and execute team events, celebrations, and off-sites. Support internal engagement initiatives. Help foster a positive workplace culture. Organise volunteering days.

People Operations: Track headcount. Maintain employee records and documentation. Assist with employee on- & off-boarding (offer, contracts, setup, company integration). Respond to employee questions and requests. Coordinate travel & bookings.

Finance & Admin Support: Track monthly invoices. Support payroll administration and data collection. Coordinate travel and trip logistics for the team. Manage sick leave.

Documentation & Processes : Maintain and update internal documentation. Help improve and streamline PeopleOps processes.

What you’ll bring

You must have

  • Proven experience: 0–2 years experience in HR, PeopleOps, Office Management, or Admin roles.

  • Exceptional communication skills: Ability to talk to any person, and connect with people across, work fields, culture and languages. Clear communication is also important.

  • Organized and strategic: Skilled in planning, managing people and experienced working in Office Package, Apple versions or other. Comfortable handling confidential information.

  • Collaborative mindset: Enjoy working across teams, contributing to different initiatives that come up, and always willing to pitch in where needed. Proactive mindset and problem-solving attitude.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, eager to learn, iterate, and innovate.

  • Problem solving: You own this role. When issues arise, be the empowered force that solves them, rolling-up.

You should have

  • A Positive outlook and genuine care for people: A strong positive spirit and sunny disposition that you try to bring every day. A care for the people around you, this role is about supporting others and caring about their work.

  • An eye for details: Sometimes the smallest details matter the most. It could be collecting a small seemingly unimportant package, or remembering someones birthday. This can make the whole difference for our Amsterdam Team, or at least someones day!

It’s helpful to have

  • Dutch Language skills: Helpful but not necessary! We work mostly in English but of course with our Dutch location, it would be helpful.

  • Previous experience in recruiting: Ability to help with recruiting for our growing company, if needed.
