About the Role
As Head of People, you will lead the People Operations team and help shape the environment in which PassiveLogics’ teams can thrive. You will be responsible for designing systems that attract exceptional talent, develop individuals and leaders, improve organizational effectiveness, and create a workplace where people are empowered to thrive in their work.
You will partner closely with executives and managers across the organization. Drawing on data, experimentation, and thoughtful organizational design, you will ensure that our people practices scale alongside the company.
Key Responsibilities
People Strategy & Organizational Development:
Lead the People Operations function and develop the long-term people strategy for PassiveLogic.
Partner with leadership to design organizational structures and programs that support company growth and execution..
Ensure people programs reinforce our mission, values, and culture.
Talent Acquisition & Talent Excellence
Support PassiveLogic researchers in their recruiting efforts and bring fresh ideas for attracting top-tier talent.
Performance, Growth & Career Development
Design and improve performance management systems that focus on growth, coaching, and impact.
Create frameworks for career progression, internal mobility, and leadership development.
Build programs that help employees continuously learn and develop new capabilities.
Employee Experience & Culture
Foster a culture of trust, ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Measure employee engagement and organizational health through data, feedback, and experimentation.
Build programs that improve employee development and long-term retention.
Create and support systems that help employees do their best work while maintaining sustainable performance.
Leadership Partnership
Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and managers.
Coach leaders on organizational design, team effectiveness, performance management, and employee development.
Help leadership teams make thoughtful, evidence-based people decisions.
Drive initiatives that improve company-wide effectiveness and scalability.
What you’ll bring
You must have
8+ years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related leadership roles
Experience leading and scaling People Operations functions in a growing organization
Strong understanding of organizational design, talent development, performance management, and employee engagement
Experience using data and analytics to inform people decisions
Demonstrated ability to coach managers and leaders at multiple levels
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Experience building systems and processes that scale with organizational growth
High degree of discretion, judgment, and integrity
You should have
Experience in startup, high-growth technology, or engineering-driven organizations
Experience designing leadership development and management training programs
Familiarity with evidence-based management and organizational psychology
Experience implementing people analytics and workforce planning frameworks
Strong understanding of recruiting and talent acquisition best practices
It’s helpful to have
Experience supporting highly technical teams including engineering, product, and research organizations
Background in organizational behavior, psychology, business, or related disciplines
Experience building people programs from the ground up
Familiarity with AI tools and modern workforce productivity systems
Experience leading through periods of rapid organizational growth
