Director of Service Operations, Compliance
Revyse
Who We Are:
Revyse helps multifamily operators discover the best vendor partners, manage contracts and compliance, and reduce financial risk. Our AI-powered platform helps the industry turn vendor and supplier data into a strategic advantage. We are a fast-moving, early-stage tech company with a big vision. Founded by industry experts and financially supported by industry veterans - we're overhauling the relationship between operators and suppliers.
Who We’re Hiring:
This isn't your typical "Director of Ops" role. It's part operational architect, part systems builder, part mini-GM for our compliance product line.
We're looking for someone to build and own the operational backend of our vendor compliance product - the workflows, payment operations, document processing systems, and data infrastructure that power how vendors move through verification and renewals. You'll partner closely with our Product and CX Teams to ensure these backend systems enable excellent vendor experiences.
Over time, this role will expand to support broader company-wide operations as Revyse scales.
You're the Right Fit if You:
- Love building systems from scratch and improving them constantly
- Thrive in ambiguity and move fast without dropping the details
- Get energy from working across Product, CX, and Finance to make things run smoothly
- See data, process, and customer experience as deeply connected
- Are equally comfortable being strategic and hands-on, analyzing data in the morning and jumping on a vendor support call that afternoon
- Understand that “operational excellence” in startups means learning, fixing, and iterating daily
The reality: This is a builder’s role in the truest sense. You’ll be creating processes from scratch, documenting systems that currently live in people’s heads, and establishing the operational backbone that determines how we scale. If you prefer following playbooks over writing them, this role probably isn’t for you.
What You’ll Do:
Service Delivery & Process Design
- Own end-to-end delivery operations for our vendor compliance product, from enrollment to verification to renewals and rechecks.
- Partner with CX to help build the operational infrastructure that supports vendor workflows (email, chat, call center) as we rapidly scale.
- Ensure accessibility and consistency across vendor segments.
- Partner with our insurance compliance team to integrate digital and physical document reviews and COI processing into seamless workflows.
- Collaborate with Product to surface friction points and translate operational pain into product requirements that improve automation and vendor experience.
Financial & Data Operations
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations tied to vendor compliance, including fees, payments, credit card retries, and forecasting.
- Support sales tax analysis and reporting with our finance and compliance partners.
- Use data to monitor throughput, turnaround times, and vendor satisfaction, highlighting performance trends and driving improvement.
- Partner with CX and Product to build migration playbooks for new customers transitioning off legacy systems to Revyse.
Team Building & Future Scaling
- Roll up your sleeves early on, supporting vendors directly as needed, then help scale the team as we grow.
- Define performance metrics and QA processes for vendor support and service delivery teams as volume scales to tens of thousands of vendors.
- Build sustainable backend processes that free up the CX team to focus on relationships, revenue activation, and delivery excellence.
- Help the Leadership Team design reporting frameworks that surface key metrics for board meetings and business reviews.
Cross-Functional Operations
- Partner with Product, CX, and Engineering to ensure operational readiness for new releases.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Legal on compliance, payments, and data governance.
- Execute on documentation that help teams move faster and stay aligned.
- Ensure all operational processes consider legal and regulatory requirements, and embed compliance checkpoints into our standard procedures.
What You Bring:
Ideal candidates have built service operations at marketplace companies, proptech platforms, insurtech companies, or SaaS companies with managed services. You've scaled payment operations, designed document processing workflows, or built the operational backbone for a service-based product.
- 5-7+ years of experience in operations, service delivery, or product operations, ideally in SaaS, proptech, or a marketplace environment.
- Proven experience standing up new processes and systems from scratch.
- Strong analytical chops - you use data to understand what’s working and where to improve.
- Familiarity with payments (Stripe), document processing (OCR/AI), or customer support systems.
- Experience coordinating across technical and non-technical teams.
- You’re comfortable reading contracts, managing third-party vendors, and ensuring compliance. Bonus points for understanding commercial insurance policies.
- Bias toward action. You don’t wait for perfect clarity - you move, learn, and iterate.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you translate messy reality into structure and clarity.
- Entrepreneurial operator mindset with a bias toward action. We know that building the plane while flying it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if it's yours, let's talk!
Why Join Team Revyse:
- You’ll help move our high-growth startup forward and shape how we scale.
- Collaborative remote-forward work environment with a SUPER passionate and talented team. We love working hard on interesting projects.
- You’ll be sitting at the crossroads of multifamily vendors and operators. Being able to bring the industry together and amplifying the good happening all around us is some seriously rewarding work.
- Trust falls are part of our DNA. We don’t think it’s weird or awkward to care about our well-being at work - we value each other as individuals and are energized by the idea of understanding our colleagues on a deeper level.
- Our leadership philosophy is to over communicate, always. We’re transparent about company goals and opportunities.
- We believe that 100% of the organization should understand and be accountable to the vision and strategy. If we all know where it is we’re trying to go, it’s far easier to row the boat in unison.
