Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer who is ready to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will design, develop, and execute test cases to identify and address defects, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of excellence. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced product environment where data is readily available, innovation is expected, and releases happen daily.

As a Software QA Engineer at TurboTenant, you’ll do the following:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure efficient test coverage and maintainability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for test automation optimization.
  • Execute manual test cases to verify product functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Report and track defects using a bug tracking system, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues.
  • Design test scenarios to effectively evaluate product functionality and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of the product.

To thrive in this position, you’ll need the following skills and experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.

TurboTenant has offices in Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado, with the product team working out of our Denver office. Face-to-face time is an essential aspect of the role, and the ideal candidate for this role would be expected in the Denver or Fort Collins office once a week (more if preferred).

Compensation range for this position is $91,000 - $99,000 + annual discretionary bonus + equity. The actual compensation offered will be based on experience.
