TurboTenant is searching for a passionate and experienced Director of Performance Marketing to rapidly accelerate our growth through paid and organic growth channels. We're seeking a dynamic leader who can manage a talented team of marketers and help scale our digital and offline channels to take on the property management software market.

At TurboTenant, we're dedicated to empowering DIY landlords with exceptional software solutions. We've achieved remarkable success in creating industry-leading property management tools, and we're excited to expand our reach to every landlord in the USA.

The ideal candidate will spearhead our Paid Media and SEO effort, collaborating across multiple teams across the company. You will play a pivotal role in managing our budgets and driving the largest traffic channels, getting the TurboTenant message to landlords across the country.

If you have a proven track record of scaling budgets, optimizing campaigns towards CAC, and owning marketing data pipelines, we encourage you to apply. Join our team and help us make TurboTenant a household name!

As the leader of the Performance Marketing team, you will:

  • Lead our multi-channel growth by overseeing the strategy and execution of paid media, SEO, and emerging channels to exceed customer acquisition goals and maximize ROI.
  • Own our SEO and content strategy, enhancing keyword rankings, boosting organic traffic, and strengthening domain authority through high-quality content and best practices.
  • Manage our paid media strategies across diverse channels (Search, Social, Video/TV, Radio, OOH, and Local), ensuring alignment with CAC goals and driving change towards scaling our high-performing campaigns.
  • Understand user intent across each channel to develop compelling ads with engaging design and content, while partnering with the website testing team to create and test high-converting landing pages.
  • Drive data-informed decision-making through robust channel reporting, tracking our CAC and balancing it vs the LTV of customers.
  • Own the performance marketing forecasting, and maintain accurate attribution.
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing team, delivering strong leadership, structured coaching, and clear career development paths while holding team members accountable to performance standards.
  • Lead performance marketing operations, including budget management, reporting integrity, tag implementation, QA, and continuous optimization of data pipelines and marketing insights.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, serving as a subject matter expert in performance marketing to elevate the team's knowledge, effectiveness, and innovation in performance marketing.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • 6+ years managing Paid Media and SEO for B2C companies, with a strong track record of driving revenue through both channels.
  • At least 2 years managing monthly budgets exceeding $500k, with a demonstrated ability to allocate spend effectively to meet performance goals.
  • 3+ years leading and mentoring high-performing teams across SEO and Paid Media, providing clear, actionable feedback to support professional growth.
  • Experience thriving in startup environments, including work on brand positioning, messaging development, and navigating change effectively.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices (including YouTube), technical implementation (e.g., tag usage), and experience optimizing diverse websites for organic growth.
  • Deep understanding of Paid Media platform best practices including algorithm processes, technical implementation (e.g., tag usage), and experience with web and phone related tracking.
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally with writers, designers, and product stakeholders to build consistent and impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Expert in interpreting and acting on complex data sets; able to communicate insights in a clear, simple manner to inform acquisition strategies.
  • Naturally curious and experimental, with a history of testing new tactics—including AI tools—while staying within platform guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator; adept at public speaking, creating presentations, and simplifying complex ideas to engage diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, experience in strategic planning, and a consistent record of goal achievement.
  • Comfortable working with SQL—able to read, interpret, and make edits to existing queries to support data analysis and reporting.

Bonus points if you have experience in any of the following areas:

  • Experience in the real estate or proptech industry
  • Have experience managing a property or you are a landlord
