You'll also identify, create, and maintain key customer segments, oftentimes pulling in new data sets to identify different types of customers.
- Build and optimize: You will build, design, and QA emails and SMS messages , while continuously A/B testing existing communications to increase their effectiveness. You'll also partner closely with designers and developers while being comfortable rolling up your sleeves to write copy or troubleshoot code in HTML/CSS. You'll define and strengthen QA processes so lifecycle sends are reliable, accurate, and high-quality.
- Collaborate and learn: Work with marketing, design, product, and engineering teams to create new opportunities and experiences for our customers. You will also get to know landlords and their tenants really, really well.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Experience to Dominate: Have 4+ years of experience owning and managing an organization’s communication methods. You also have experience engaging with users over long periods of time to communicate value and invoke action.
- Data-Driven Communication: Be passionate for clear, concise communication backed by the smart use of data. You should also have strong copywriting skills and a sharp eye for email design and rendering quality.
- Agile & Collaborative: Be willing to test new ideas and learn from their results. You should also be collaborative and proactive in working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, CX, Engineering, and Data teams.
- Technical Savvy: Have strong knowledge of at least one modern ESP (Braze, Customer.io, Iterable, Klaviyo) for SaaS business applications.
Your bonus superpowers:
- Real Estate Experience: Experience in residential real estate as a landlord, investor, real estate agent, leasing agent, or community manager is a nice to have.
