Turno is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient web applications, ensuring high-quality code and seamless user experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

This position is remote and we are accepting candidates from Latin America.

Deliver High-Quality Full-Stack Applications:

• Implement and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
• Achieve high code coverage with automated tests.
• Conduct regular code reviews and peer programming sessions.

Enhance Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Participate actively in team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and collective problem-solving.

Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Identify and implement opportunities for codebase refactoring and optimization.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and propose their adoption where applicable.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical knowledge base.

Ensure Timely Project Delivery:

• Break down projects into manageable, estimated tasks and create realistic timelines.
• Track project progress and address any blockers or risks promptly.
• Ensure thorough testing and quality assurance before project releases.

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, working on cloud-based web applications. Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, Vue, and React Native with expert knowledge of at least one. Knowledge of design patterns, code quality standards, and architectural principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges. Proven track record of identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues. Ability to make informed decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to facilitate meetings and ensure clear information flow. Fluent in English.
