As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Turno, you’ll be at the forefront of building intuitive, robust user experiences. This role demands a fullstack mindset, deep expertise in TypeScript and Next.js, and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to accelerate software delivery.

Strong English communication skills are required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web and mobile interfaces using TypeScript, Next.js, and related frameworks.
  • Translate detailed design specifications from Figma into performant, pixel-perfect frontend code.
  • Implement and maintain clean, scalable architecture following our defined Clean Architecture principles.
  • Actively engage with AI coding assistants (Cursor, MCP) to accelerate development workflows.
  • Own feature delivery from initial planning and estimation through production support and optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure alignment on objectives and user experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a software engineer, specifically focused on TypeScript and React.
  • Extensive experience with full SDLC including production support and feature ownership.
  • Proven proficiency translating Figma designs into responsive, high-quality code.
  • Solid experience with design systems and Storybook.
  • Familiarity with deployment environments and tooling (Vercel, GCP).
  • Demonstrable experience and enthusiasm for AI-driven coding techniques.

LATAM Operations

This is a full-time contract role based in Brazil (fully remote) or Argentina (hybrid from our Buenos Aires office). We communicate primarily in English, so strong written and verbal skills are required. Work hours are flexible but require consistent availability from 10 AM–3 PM local time. The position offers up to 15 days of annual PTO plus paid local public holidays, subject to company discretion.
